Sound quality on this DIW Japanese pressing is hit or miss. Albert Ayler sounds great and is heard very clearly but his sidemen are not heard very well at all. Pressing quality and overall album presentation are great as always though

Mine came in a Mofi-like inner sleeve. That’s interesting that there were different inner sleeves provided

Killer sound to this record! Kevin Gray did an excellent job with this Tone Poet reissue! My first copy had some surface noise in spots, but the replacement plays great with no noise!

Incredible pressing of this and for an extremely reasonable price. Sound quality is amazing and my copy was flat and free of any surface marks. Of the 3 Classic Series records I have purchased so far, this is the best in terms of quality and sound.

Sound quality of this recording is pretty lackluster and has a muffled sound. Not sure if this is due to how this King Japanese pressing was mastered or if the original US version has this lower sound quality as well.
