Mental Escape Pod travels to very deep regions with this album. It starts with very calm and almost melodic sounds to continue to the droney bass landscapes enriched with strange science fiction noises. Imagine walking through a huge empty alien spaceship never knowing what you will find around the next corner, only to cross again some open space in the end.
Vøid / Coma.:
MEP never fails to satisfy my need for dark ambiences/drones.
Like pulled straight from a disturbed nightmare, "Marked as a traget" and "Selector FM" gave me the strongest emotional reaction. You tend to feel uneasy, paranoid, the drones are creeping through your brain and speak of things you`d rather forget. Another mind-altering EP from MEP, and, as always, he leaves me hungry for more.
