- Caravan are an English band from Canterbury. The band's music is included in the category of progressive rock. The bands from this area, such as Soft Machine playing a mix of rock and jazz. Caravan was formed in 1966 after the break-up of The Wilde Flowers. The original line-up consisted of Richard Sinclair, Pye Hastings, Dave Sinclair and Richard Coughlan. In this occupation they would hold out the first three years, from 1968 to 1971. Afterwards all kinds of changes occur in the band Caravan has initially from 1968 to 1978. In 1980 the band back together, but between 1985 and 1990 there is nothing of the band. Since 1990, the band released new music, and the band also with intervals on.
