Not sure if it's only my copy but the low ends were very dull and almost non-existent for most of the songs. Overall, I felt as though the record lacked in substance as well as originality. A few of the songs reminded me of some of the Toto stuff of the same era. Mandy Meyer on the guitar was the only reason I was drawn to this album (aside from the remarkable cover) but even his performance felt empty and out of character compared to his earlier work with Cobra for example. The only song that is worth spending time with is Countdown to Zero in my opinion. Its a great song with enjoyable arrangements and guitar work.
