Reviews
- Sophie Darly is a fine singer with a beautiful voice. The album contains quite interesting versions of some familiar songs. If you want to hear a nice female voice in the context of contemporary jazz you should give this album a chance. If jazz isn't really your thing you could still enjoy it.
A most pleasant thing was to find out there's a cover of "No Stranger Am I". That song was a b-side of "I Close My Eyes And Count To Ten" single by Dusty Springfield and the song was written by Norma Tanega. The Dusty Springfield version is a true gem. If you're reading this and you haven't heard it yet, go and check it out.
