- A friend gave me an old copy of this. The first listen blew me away. Such a great record. Very quickly becoming my favorite. It will earn a place on my favorites shelf for sure. More people should own give respect here. Absolute genius.
- This album, especially side one is one of my favorite jazz albums. Even though it's mono or perhaps because it is there's an immediacy to the music and a feeling that the musicians are in the room. This is one of those albums I play for friends to show off the system.
- Edited 4 years agoHands down favorite. Combines the best of exotica and hard bop. In awe that this gets less recognition than say Moanin, which is just ok on my list.
