Pinkerator – Jah & Jazz EP

Greetings to you, the listener! And now the reader, if you see now in front of these lines. Actually, now I tell you a little about what all this music, and how it was created. I have nothing to hide, and someone may be interested to read it all.

I will begin from afar - my name is Eugene and I live in Russian city Saratov. I write music seriously for several years, but until then mainly worked on drum'n'bass tracks. Listening to my songs, some familiar producers told them smacks of pure IDM. Gradually, these comments began to take shape in the trend, and I decided to defer all the old projects. Postponed, and for fun wrote this pilot EP. All songs were born in the depths of Propellerhead Reason 4. The album is exactly eight tracks, there are intro, outro, and in the life of the listener, he takes a minimum of 20 minutes 10 seconds. 20-10, 2010 - something like a year when I finished it. We assume a happy coincidence.
Work on a specific album took about six months - from the middle of 2009 to January 2010. Nevertheless, it has a track on which I began to work much sooner. This "Cymo relaxator", which was once the "Cymo Relaxant" - drum'n'bass track, but I strongly disliked their monotony and for that I had decided specifically to process. As well as a remix of "Imenem", I worked on (there will be very accurate) 19 June 2008. For a long time trying to understand how exactly I want to hear this remix, because original from my friend Grahera-Pobozar (in addition to writing music, this companion is extremely interesting photographs - pobozar.ru) and girl Djenet, holder of voice, personally I really like. I started to make this remix from scratch, throwing, trying to find the original sound, and now very happy, because it seems to me, it came out very dark and interesting.

A little reference about the tracks:
[A] - Thanks to my friend ZIF for a lovely buggy samples, which he recorded with the camcorder. Without them, this intro would sound quite different. And it is thanks for the tremendous monologue, the origin of which history is silent.
[B] - In this track entirely thanks Muddasheep. If not for him - was not used and the track.
[F] - Contains a part of the dialogue from the film "Stalker" by Tarkovsky.
[H] - Just thank Muslimgauze, for being cooked in my head porridge from an ax.
