Thesource tape is the famous BBC recording from 1974. This version includes the "I've been mad for f@#king years ..." bit that was faded out on the original broadcast but 'Any Colour ...' has a cut in it.

Great sounding record, though this is not an early performance as other reviewers have stated. The stage debut of The Dark Side of The Moon was in January of 1972, and this recording was made in November of 1974. Well over 100 performances of the album had been given on stage by the time of this recording.

It's a great performance and sound quality on vinyl is excellent. David Gilmore's guitar work is outstanding as is Wright's keyboard. The solos are different so it's like listening to another version of the album. Can't buy them here but they're pretty easy to find on Ebay. And prices aren't crazy (yet).

Excellent sounding stereo soundboard recording of an early DSOTM show. Basically zero audience noise, only some occasional cheering between songs and that’s it. Almost like having a different mix of the album.
