Thee Lakesiders – Si Me Faltaras Tu / Parachute

Same as others said. This pressing has labels flipped. Ten words.

The copy I have the labels are mixed up. Si Me Faltaras = Parachute 10 words

I have to agree with some of the previous reviewers. I just received my copy of this from Big Crown, and the audio does sound somewhat distorted. The record arrived with a dished warp, so the A side skates backwards halfway through the song. I don't know if it's worth trying to get it replaced. Otherwise, this is a killer nu-souldie release.

Reissue and repress very flimsy and light vinyl. Plays fine however, banger track! Wish it was pressed on heaver wax though, like most Big Crown releases.

My pressing of the reissue is awful, riddled with distortion.

Anyone know what's the difference between this edition and the second press?

Nearly a month later (July 13th, 2019), copies of the frog-label 2nd press are still in stock and available - for $6.50 US! - directly from the Big Crown webstore. It's a great record, no argument, but the idea that it's worth on average $30 is just nuts. Someday maybe... But right now, it's worth about $12 w/ shipping.

This version seems to have sold out quite quickly, so I'd imagine it was pretty limited, maybe only 200-300 pressed.
