Great heavy blues rock thats not yet been discovered by the masses. The record is well sounding with a good balance of the moderate amount of low and high end it utilizes. It could possibly stretch it legs more but at least it manages to not be overtly leaning either way.
Every instrument can be appreciated with the vocals, except drums for some reason, having a sort of hollowed out sound. They are still fairly clear and impactful, just sort of recessed and not as full on some tracks. Maybe its just a bit of distortion added into the mix to create a certain sound, as on the vocals, something which a lot of music tends to do these days.
The music could overall be a bit more present but its not really audiophile music anyway.
Its not cut overly loud, however its not extraordinarily dynamic either. Thankfully the vinyl is quiet enough for that low level cut, being less audible than the slight recording hiss and with very few crackles on my copy.
Overall Im happy with the sound and would still say its above average, but some major steps could be taken to fold out this, you could say slightly flat sounding record.
