Drugi Način

Profile:

Band 'Drugi Način' ("Another Way") was formed in Zagreb, (former Yugoslavia) Croatia, by members of the band called 'Zlatni Akordi'. 'Zlatni Akordi' were first renamed to 'Novi Akordi', and from October 1974 to 'Drugi Način'.
At the end of 1976 the band split-up, so Kurtović and Mekić formed a short-lived off-shoot band 'Nepočin' which released only one album.
The band re-formed in 1978 recording several singles and second LP which did not repeat the success of the debut, so the band restricted its activity to only occasional concerts during the 1980s and gradually retired from the scene.
Požgajec re-formed the band in 1992 again recording third album with re-recorded old songs from their 70s singles.
In May 2000 'Drugi Način' appeared as a support group on the 'Jethro Tull' concert in Zagreb.
