Biography
Rock`N`Roar, Baby! - These are the last words on the opening track of the first disc of PISTOL: NOSE: PUMA`s song (shortly P: N: P) "Hell-O"! - and this saying applies to the whole set of the band too! The music of the dynamic trio can be accurately described by these words. Elements of classic rock'n'roll beats, heavy guitar sounds , provided by Hard Rock, with catchy melodies, resulting in a mixture of sometimes loud-mouthed and then again pensive songs, entitled 'New Rock'n'Roll ". The Boys Hohby (bass, vocals), Taylor (guitar) and Mitch (Drums) are mainly interested in having fun with the music, but it is also about to present the audience something with which one can identify. Fast songs, which are to promote the mobility of the listener just as important as the one or the other ballad that shows quite a soulful side of the mostly powerful sounds of PUMAS. The band was founded in 2009 in the beautiful City Naila/Germany. Subsequent to any line-up changes, the current constellation has been very active live as a trio in recent years and, besides winning the "Rock in Oberfranken" contest, the "4. Kulmbacher Band Contest "and the contest for participation in the" Festung rockt" Festival numerous appearances at festivals in the area such as “Rock im Wald”, "Wackel Open Air" or "Rock in Rehau" refer. The boys were the opening act for big names like Pyogenesis, Fiddler`s Green, 4 Lyn, Mustasch, The Bones, Supercharger, Emil Bulls or We Butter The Bread With Butter. Overall, more than 30 live concerts were given under the motto "Rock'N'Roar". After a rather quiet year 2015 in which a new EP was prepared, the boys are now from 2016 on diligently playing concerts and present a new CD with 5 songs. This is entitled "For Those About to Roar". Much like its predecessor "ROCK`N`ROAR" a paid tribute to the rock giants of the 80s and 90s in the cover design again. While the cover of the first EP still reminiscent of the "Appetite for Destruction" by Guns n` Roses cover to bow P: N: P with this EP before the legendary AC / DC. The content of the EP dealing with current issues - always thought provoking, never formulated with a raised finger. The main concern of band remains to have a good time with the music and its listeners.
