American Percussionist.

Reitz recorded more than a hundred titles on xylophone and chimes for Victor between 1908 and 1926. He performed as a featured soloist, as an accompanist of solo singers like Charles Harrison and Henry Burr, and as member of the label's house bands, the Victor Military Band and Victor Symphony Orchestra when it was still known as the Victor Orchestra. In 1916, he recorded with Conway's Band, also for Victor.

Between 1930 and 1932, Reitz also performed on Victor-created soundtrack for the German versions of the Columbia Picture movies "Flight" (1929) and "Ladies Of Leisure" (1930), both directed by Frank Capra.
