In all times, the orchestra has preserved and developed its heritage, to today be a modern wind orchestra that constantly works and develops new paths, concert forms and collaborations. Östgöta Wind Symphony Orchestra is driven by finding new challenges in collaborations to create exciting points of contact between people and cultures. The orchestra collaborates with conductors, soloists, dancers, actors, ensembles, orchestras, collaborators and clients and preferably at home in Östergötland, which is Östgöta Wind Symphony Orchestra's main meeting place, where music and cultural experiences enrich and create community for all. The musicians in Östgöta Wind Symphony Orchestra share their mission to also play in one of Östgötamusiken's three permanent ensembles, Östgöta Brass Quintet, Crusell Quintet and Östgötabandet.
