Daisy Godfrey

Daisy Godfrey is a natural and compelling singer with an honest and vulnerable delivery. In 2016 Daisy was invited to perform a live session and a series of gigs for BBC Introducing after being spotted busking on the streets of Nottingham by Dean Jackson (BBC DJ). A year later she began writing with local talents Pete Beardsworth and Jonni Scott; soon after, Jack Atherton (drummer for Jake Bugg) saw a video of the trio rehearsing, and volunteered to play. Whilst working on the project, Pete produced the first two EPs for Yazmin Lacey and released solo EP ‘Pour Un Homme Seul’; Jonni was playing bass at church, and in session for Stormzy and Mahalia; Daisy was, and continues to train as a therapist.
