Robert Cahen

Robert Cahen (1945, Valence) is a French composer and video artist.

Graduated from the Conservatoire national de musique de Paris under Pierre Schaeffer, Cahen has been a member of the Groupe de recherche musicales (GRM) de l'ORTF from 1971-74. From 1973-76, Robert Cahen directed the experimental video production of Office de Radiodiffusion-Télévision Française (ORTF), then INA.

Also credited as a photographer on numerous INA-GRM records.
