Ir-Sais

Dutch-Antillean singer born on 29 september in Kralendijk, Bonaire (former Netherlands Antilles).

Growing up in Tera Cora, Bonaire, and raised by his mother after his father passed away when he was 1 year old. He has been involved in music on the Caribbean Island from the age of 7 and had made a name for himself as a percussionist by the age of 11. At 13 he began windsurfing competitively but stopped 2 years later to fully dedicate himself to his music.

In 2003, he joined the famous Ice Band in Bonaire, and was a member of the Happy Band from 2004 to 2007. Around the same time he started his own group 'Insoportabel' together with his friend Remyman. The duo released two albums together on Bonaire. In 2008 Ir-Sais relocated to Rotterdam, the Netherlands, where he owns his own recording studio and continues to release music.
