British saxophonist, and professor. Born in 1969 in Liverpool, England, UK.
He graduated from The Guildhall School Of Music & Drama in 1992. He was appointed Principal Saxophone of the London Sinfonietta in 1997. Member of The Will Gregory Moog Ensemble as EWI and keyboard player, and of the Graham Fitkin Band. As a soloist, Simon Haram performed with a number of orchestras, including Philharmonia Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, The London Chamber Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. He was Professor of Saxophone at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama for over 10 years. Professor of Saxophone at the Royal Academy of Music.
Owner of the Silent Age Sound recording and post-production company.
