The Jolly Three

Blues group, that recorded eight titles (of which only two were issued) for Vocalion in San Antonio, Texas, in 1937.

"We have no details of the names of the members of this group, other than the vocalists. [Jim Whitehead on both issued titles.] However, as Dusky Dailey recorded both before and after the Jolly Three on the same date, there must be a possibility that he is the pianist with the group."
