Git Persson

Swedish dance band singer and accordionist, born 12 May 1965 in Kristianstad.

She participated in the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1986 with the contribution "Du förför mig", who missed the final vote. Persson was part of the dance band Kellys 1994–2002, Curt Haagers from 2003 (the premiere took place in Tidaholms Folkets Park) and until the band was disbanded on 31 December 2006.

In 2000, she was awarded the Guldklaven Award as "Singer of the Year".

In February 2007, she switched to another dance band, Fernandoz, which she left in August 2009. Her last appearance with Fernandoz was at Fagerö Folkpark in Rangsby in Finland, where she was thanked by the band. She has been a singer in the dance band Wizex since June 2021.
