Profile:

Danish organist, vibraphone player, band leader and restaurant/hotel/nightclub owner. Played vibraphone in Grethe & Jørgen Ingmann Quintet from 1959. From 1960 recording manager at Mørks Musikforlag. In the early 1960's owner of the Moulin Rouge restaurant in Vanløse and Søpavillionen, Rødbyhavn from 1965 to 1969, where his orchestra Henning Blegvads Orkester, from 1963 fronted by his later wife Anette Blegvad, entertained the guests. Established short-lived pop/rock band Bloodhounds in 1968 with bassist Gert Rostock Jensen, drummer Svend-Erik Nørregaard, guitarist Ole Benndorf, himself on organ and wife Anette on vocals. Moved to Spain in 1969 with his wife and bought a restaurant where they entertained the guests with light music. The couple divorced in the mid-1970's.
