Lourett Russell Grant

Lourett Russell Grant is a model, recording artist ,songwriter, musician and record producer who is known for her disco hit "Hot To Trot" which she wrote and co-produced with Silvio Tancredi (Atlantic /Atco Records). The song was known as having one of the most hard-hitting drum solos in disco memory with horse gallops that panned acoustically across the dance floor.

On February 23, 1980 the single entered Billboard's Disco Top 100 chart at #70.

After Grant and Tancredi parted ways, she continued recording and writing music with many top musicians such as Keith Diamond (Mick Jagger, Billy Ocean, Michael Bolton) Paul Pesco (Madonna, Michael Jackson), Fernando Saunders (Sting, Marianne Faithful, Cheryl Crow), and Ray Gomez (Miles Davis, Patty Symth, Michael Narada Walden) just to name a few.
