DJ Newmark

DJ Newmark is an American DJ, Radio Personality, Music Producer and Recording Artist. Known within the entertainment industry as "The Legendary Throwback King" of Hip-Hop, R&B and Freestyle music. DJ Newmark born as Edward Alexander Jr on June 17 1971 in Okinawa, Japan, adapted his entertainment name as a tribute to the first set of DJ turntables he owned (brand name Numark). Son to a military Serviceman, Newmark traveled the world DJ’ing across the globe as he was exposed to different local musical influences.

DJ Newmark’s diversity in music genres has kept his dance floors packed for over three decades although Old School Hip-Hop and R&B is his specialty. His live DJ performances spans to over six countries, 31 states and 68 cities. DJ Newmark has over 150 songs to his music producer credit and has been a contributing member of the Association of Songwriters, Composers and Publishers (ASCAP) since 2001.

While interning at a local radio station in Sacramento, California at the age of 17, Newmark was the leading DJ on the radio stations Street Team and was given a two-hour long mix segment every Saturday Night from 12 midnight to 2 am known as the “After Party Mix” in 1989 on the formally FM 103.5 KBMB “The Bomb”. Currently the radio show host of “The DJ Newmark Experience”. Averaging over 27K listeners per hour worldwide, DJ Newmark can be heard every day on West Palm Beach Florida's number one radio station for classic Hip-Hop and R&B, YO! 107.1 FM at 3pm EST and the “Flavor on Top of Flavor Master Mix” show on weekends at 6pm. His social media influence is constantly expanding with over 73K followers across all platforms.

The former Official DJ of the Oakland Raiders, DJ Newmark recently released his debut album “Hot Tracks” in January 2023 and is now available on all music streaming services.
