Victor Waill

Composer, producer, and arranger Víctor Waill (1952 - 2019) was born in Baní, Dominican Republic. He began his musical work in 1974 in the band "Tino Peña y Su Combo Salsa", from Baní. While in this group, he met Wilfrido Vargas who saw his potential and hired him for his orchestra; "Wilfrido Vargas Y Sus Beduinos". Waill died at the Santo Domingo home of Wilfrido Vargas' mother where he had lived for 40 years.
